Flash Sale allows you to create a limited-time promotion for selected products, categories, or all products in your store. This promotion is suitable when you want to create urgency and encourage customers to buy within a specific time period. You can set the sale duration, discount type, campaign stock, and purchase limit for each product.
For example, you can run a 1-day flash sale and offer up to 50% discount for selected products.
Example Scenario #
You want to run a 4.4 Mega Sale for one of your products.
Example product: Emerald Coconut Vanilla Body Lotion
Normal price: RM500
During the flash sale, you want to offer: 50% discount
So the customer will see:
Normal price: RM500
Flash Sale price: RM250
Customer saves: RM250
You can also set a campaign stock or purchase limit if you want to control how many units customers can buy during the flash sale.

Step 1: Go to Flash Sales #
From your admin dashboard, go to the Flash Sales page.
Click + Create to create a new flash sale.
Step 2: Fill in Basic Information #
In the New Flash Sale page, fill in the basic details for your promotion.
You need to complete:
Sale Name :Enter the name of your flash sale.
Example: 4.4 Mega Sale
Promotion / Discount Description
Add a short description about the promotion.Example: Enjoy up to 50% discount for selected body lotion products during our 4.4 Mega Sale.
Status
Make sure the toggle is Enabled if you want the flash sale to be active.
Start Date & Time and End Date & Time
Set when the flash sale should start.
Set the promotion start and end date, The discount will only be available within the selected date range.
Step 3: Choose Sale Products #
Next, go to the Sale Products section.
Choose which products you want to include in this flash sale.
You can select from:
All Products
Use this if you want the flash sale to apply to all products in your store.
Product
Use this if you only want to apply the flash sale to selected products.
Category
Use this if you want to apply the flash sale to products under selected categories.
For example, if you only want to discount one item, choose Product and select the product from the list.
Step 4: Set the Discount Type #
After selecting the product, choose the discount type.
There are two discount types available:
- Percentage Discount : Use this if you want to give discount by percentage.
Example: 50% discount from RM50 –> Customer pays RM250 - Fixed Discount Amount : Use this if you want to deduct a fixed amount from the product price
Example: RM50 discount from RM50 –> Customer pays RM450
Step 5: Enter the Discount Value #
Enter the discount value based on the discount type you selected.
Example 1: Percentage Discount
Discount Type: Percentage Discount
Value: 50
Sale Price: RM250
Example 2: Fixed Discount Amount
Discount Type: Fixed Discount Amount
Value: RM50
Sale Price: RM450
The system will automatically show the sale price after the discount is entered.
Step 6: Set Campaign Stock #
In the Campaign Stock field, enter the number of stock units you want to allocate for this flash sale.
Example:
- If you enter 20, only 20 units will be available under this flash sale campaign.
- If you enter 0, it means unlimited campaign stock.
Note: Use campaign stock if you want to limit the quantity available during the flash sale.
Step 7: Set Purchase Limit #
You can also set a Purchase Limit for customers.
This controls how many units each customer can buy during the flash sale.
Example:
Purchase Limit: 2
This means each customer can only buy up to 2 units for this flash sale item.
If you do not want to limit the quantity, you can keep it as No Limit.
Step 8: Set Promotion Combinations #
In the Combinations section, you can choose whether this flash sale can be combined with other promotion types.
You may see options such as:
Order-level discounts
Allow order discount promotions to stack with this flash sale.
Shipping discounts
Allow free shipping promotions to stack with this flash sale.
If you tick these options, customers may be able to enjoy the flash sale together with other eligible promotions.
Example:
Flash Sale 50% OFF + Free Shipping
Make sure to test the checkout flow first to ensure the final total amount is correct.
Step 9: Create Flash Sale #
Once all details are completed, click Create Flash Sale.
Your flash sale will be created based on the start and end date you have set.
If the flash sale is enabled and the date/time is valid, customers will be able to enjoy the flash sale price during the promotion period.
Note: #
Flash Sale is time-based. Make sure the start date, end date, product selection, discount value, campaign stock, and purchase limit are set correctly before publishing the promotion.
