How to Create a Bundle Promotion

Bundle Promotion allows you to create a special offer when customers buy a certain quantity of products together. This promotion is useful when you want to encourage customers to buy more items in one order, clear slow-moving products, or promote selected product combinations.

For example, you can create promotions such as:

  • Buy 2 items and get 10% off
  • Buy 3 items and get RM5 off
  • Buy 2 items for RM50
  • Buy selected products from the same category and enjoy a bundle deal
Example Scenario #

You want to create a bundle promotion for body lotion products.
For example, customers can buy 2 body lotions for RM80.

Normal price: Product A: RM50 | Product B: RM50
Total normal price: RM100

With Bundle Promotion: Buy 2 items at RM80, Customer saves RM20

This helps encourage customers to purchase more items at once while enjoying a better deal.

After seeing how the Bundle Promotion appears during checkout, follow the steps below to create your own Bundle Promotion 

Step 1: Go to Bundle Promotions #

From your admin dashboard, go to the Bundle Promotions page.

You will see the list of existing bundle promotions, including:

  • Bundle Promotion name
  • Rule
  • Purchase Limit
  • Status
  • Valid From
  • Valid To

If there is no bundle promotion yet, the list will show No results found.

Click + Create to create a new bundle promotion.

Step 2: Enter Bundle Promotion Details #

You will be redirected to the New Bundle page.

Fill in the basic details:

Bundle Promotion Name
Enter a name for your promotion.
Example: Buy 2 Body Lotions for RM80

Status
Make sure the promotion is Enabled if you want it to be active.

Valid From and Valid To
The Bundle Promotion will only be available within the selected date range

Step 3: Choose Bundle Promotion Type #

Next, choose the type of bundle promotion you want to create.

There are 3 types available:

  • Percentage Discount : Use this if you want to give a percentage discount when customers buy a certain quantity.
    Example: Buy 2 items and get 10% off.

In the rule section, enter:
Buy 4 items & get 12 % off

  • Amount Discount : Use this if you want to give a fixed RM discount when customers buy a certain quantity.
  • Example: Buy 2 items and get RM5 off.

In the rule section, enter: Buy 4 items & get RM 8 off

You can also tick Multiply the discount when customer buys more if you want the discount to multiply based on quantity.

Example:

  • Buy 2 get RM5 off
  • Buy 4 get RM10 off
  • Buy 6 get RM15 off

If this option is not enabled, the customer will only get a flat discount once.

  • Special Bundle Price : Use this if you want to set a special price for a certain quantity of items.
    Example: Buy 2 items at a bundle price of RM80.

In the rule section, enter: Buy 2 items at a Bundle Price of RM 80

You can also tick Multiply the bundle when the customer buys more.

Example:

Buy 2 for RM80
Buy 4 for RM160
Buy 6 for RM240

If this option is not enabled, extra items may be charged based on the normal unit price.

Step 4: Add More Bundle Rules #

Click Add Row if you want to add more bundle levels.

Example:

Buy 2 items at RM80
Buy 3 items at RM110
Buy 5 items at RM180

This is useful if you want to offer better deals when customers buy more.

If you do not need extra rules, you can keep only one row.

Step 5: Set Purchase Limit #

Under Purchase Limit, you can set how many times this bundle promotion can be used.

This field is optional.

Example:

If you enter 100, the bundle promotion can only be used for the first 100 purchases.

If you leave it blank, there will be no purchase limit.

Step 6: Choose Promotion Filter #

Next, choose which products or categories can enjoy this bundle promotion.

You can choose from:

  1. All Products : Select this if the bundle promotion applies to all products in your store. OR
  2. Product : Select this if the bundle promotion only applies to selected products. OR
  3. Category : Select this if the bundle promotion applies to selected product categories.

Customers will be able to enjoy the bundle promotion when they buy products from the selected filter that you use.

Step 7: Choose Customer Eligibility #

Next, choose who can use this bundle promotion.
Everyone : Select this if you want all customers, including guest customers, to use the bundle promotion.
Members Only : Select this if you only want signed-in customers to use the bundle promotion.

This is useful if you want to encourage customers to register as members before enjoying the promotion.

Step 8: Set Promotion Combinations #

Under Combinations, you can choose whether this bundle promotion can be combined with other promotion types.

You can allow:
Order-level discounts : This allows customers to use an order discount together with the bundle promotion.
Example: Customer enjoys bundle price and also gets extra 10% off cart subtotal.

Shipping discounts : This allows customers to enjoy free shipping together with the bundle promotion.
Example: Customer gets bundle price and free shipping in the same order.

Make sure to test the promotion in your storefront to confirm the final checkout amount is correct.

Step 9: Save the Bundle Promotion #

After completing all settings, click Save to create the bundle promotion.

Once saved, the promotion will appear in the Bundle Promotions list.

Customers can now enjoy the bundle promotion based on the rules, products, eligibility, and date period you have set.

Note #

Before publishing your bundle promotion, we recommend testing it from your storefront.

Add the selected products to cart and check:

  • The bundle discount is applied correctly
  • The correct products or categories are included
  • The promotion date is valid
  • The customer eligibility works as expected
  • The final checkout total is correct
