Payment Gateway allows customers to pay online during checkout using supported methods such as FPX online banking, credit or debit card, e-wallets, and more. This option is suitable for merchants who want to accept online payments automatically through a payment provider. To use it, you can either apply for a new payment gateway account or connect with your existing payment gateway account that you already have.
The setup may require approval and integration details such as API key, merchant ID, secret key, or other credentials provided by the payment gateway provider.
If You Do Not Have a Payment Gateway Yet #
If you do not have any payment gateway account yet, you can apply for one from the system.
- From your admin dashboard, go to Settings.
- Click Payments.
- Under the payment gateway section, click Apply for Payment Gateway.
- You will be shown a list of available payment gateway providers.
- Use the filter on the left side to choose the services you need, such as:
- Credit / debit card
- FPX online banking
- E-wallets
- Buy now, pay later
- Installment plans
- International payments
- Recurring billing
- Review the available providers and compare the supported payment methods, transaction fee, and payout period.
- Click Details if you want to view more information about the provider.
- Click Apply to proceed with the selected payment gateway provider.
- Follow the application instructions and submit the required information or documents.
- Once your application is approved, you may proceed with the integration setup using the details provided by the payment gateway provider.
If You Already Have a Payment Gateway #
If you already have an existing payment gateway account, you can connect it to your store.
- From your admin dashboard, go to Settings.
- Click Payments.
- Under the payment gateway section, click I already have one.
- Choose the payment gateway provider that you want to connect.
- Click Connect.
- Fill in the required integration details.
The required details may be different depending on the payment gateway provider. Common details may include:- API Key
- Secret Key
- Merchant ID
- Client ID
- Client Secret
- Callback URL
- Webhook URL
- Once completed, save or submit the setup.
- Enable the payment method toggle if required.
- Click Save Changes.
Once connected, the selected online payment methods will be available for customers during checkout.
Important Note
Payment gateway approval, transaction fees, payout period, and required documents may differ depending on the selected payment provider.If you are not sure which payment gateway to use, compare the available providers based on your business needs, customer payment preference, transaction fee, and payout timeline.
